Easter Services
Easter Lillies
Easter Lillies can be ordered  using the brown envelopes in the pews and placing your orders in the offering plates at any church service.  Please include the name(s) of those being memorialized or honored and the name of the donor(s).  Cost is $5.00 per plant.  Deadline for orders is Sunday, March 14th. 
Rummage Sale
A rummage sale is being planned for May 10th and 11th.  It's time to start saving your no longer needed items to bring to church while you do your spring cleaning.  Clothing, toys, and other items you may wish to donate are always welcome.  We will also be holding a soup sale, lunch, and bake sale on May 10th in conjunction with the rummage sale.
Lenten Services
Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, February 17th.  We will be holding a service here at St. John at 7:30 PM.  We will again be rotating our Wednesday evening lent services with Trinity UCC.  All services will be at 7:30 PM.  February 24th, March 10th, and March 24th services will be at Trinity.  March 3rd, 17th, and 31st will be here at St. John.
Our service on Easter morning, Sunday April 4th, will be at 6:00 AM for our sunrise service, and 9:30 AM for our regular worship service.  We will observe the sacrement of Holy Communion at both services.
One Great Hour of Sharing
Sunday, March 14th is the day we will take up our annual offering in support of One Great Hour of Sharing.  Your gifts will help bring food, shelter, water, and medical supplies to the needy and survivors of disasters around th world.
Easter Egg Hunt
Our annual Easter Egg hunt and family luncheon will be held on Palm Sunday, March 28th.  Information is arriving in the mail for all members, or can be picked up at church.  Please be sure to sign up in advance for this event.
Yankees Game
We are again planning a group outing to see the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees on Saturday, June 12th.  Tickets will be $9.50 per person and includes a food voucher and baseball hat.
