Rummage Sale
A fall rummage sale is scheduled for October 4th and 5th.  Bring items you wish to donate to the church at any time.  We will have a soup sale, bake sale, and luncheon in coordination with the rummage sale.  Funds raised by this sale will be given to the roof fund to support our recent repair project.
Fall Schedule
We will resume our fall schedule after the Labor Day weekend.  The first Sunday for Sunday school classes will be September 12th.  An orientation meeting for confirmation class students and their parents will be held that evening at the church at 7:00 PM.  If you have a child who is entering 7th grade or higher and you wish to enroll them, please contact the Pastor or call the church office.
175th Anniversary
We will be celebrating the 175th anniversary of St. John's on Sunday, October 24th.  A special morning service at 9:30 AM will be followed by a roast beef or turkey dinner at 11:30 AM.  The cost is $10.00 per person.  Sign up sheets are on the bulletin boards at church or you can call the church office.  Reservations are required for the dinner - the deadline to sign up is October 15th.
We are nearing the final stages of our roof repair project.  So far, we have spent nearly $35,000 to fix our leaking roof and get rid of the mold and mildew in the church building.  We thank our members who have donated generously to the project so far.  We will be holding a special offering on the first Sunday in September, with all donations going to the roofing fund, or you can donate at any time by marking your envelope for the roof project.
